Michael-Christopher Suman is the Founder & CEO of Detailing for MCAS, a youth-led nonprofit dedicated to supporting children and families living with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. What began as a personal mission in 2021 has grown into a nationally recognized organization delivering care packages, running hospital programs, and building awareness for one of medicine's most underdiagnosed rare diseases.
Driven by a firsthand understanding of the challenges MCAS patients face, Michael-Christopher built Detailing for MCAS from the ground up — assembling a team of passionate young leaders, forging partnerships with institutions like Mayo Clinic and Cleveland Clinic, and expanding the organization to chapters across the country.
Michael-Christopher believes that age is not a barrier to impact — that youth-led advocacy, done with intention and heart, can change lives and shift systems.
